The Velocity from Vaughn has been a staple in their line for a full 8 iterations. With the release of the VE8 Pro Carbon, Vaughn is taking the classic Velocity and adding innovative and modern pad design to bring a best of both worlds package.

Featuring Vaughn's Carbon Enhanced Performance running tip to toe on top of their sturdy pro core, The VE8 Pro Carbon will maintain its shape while still providing the familiar Vaughn cushion that they have become famous for. The Carbon in the face makes sure the pad springs back to its original shape, even after hard use.

The VE8 also offers an extremely innovative new strapping system exclusive to the new pad. This new attachment system utilizes magnetic buckles on the calf to allow for a tight, yet adjustable fit that provides a more traditional feeling of leather straps but with the ease of attachment that something like velcro offers.

Vaughn has also stiffened up the ankle break area to ensure that the pad doesn't sink over its life time. This stiffer ankle as well as a smooth, large inner sliding surface allows for a pad that moves effortlessly on the ice to make sure you can get there to make that big save.
